Every Wednesday in term time, 1:15 to 2:45, Shenfield Parish Hall

	Welcome to Footprints! We provide a friendly playgroup for parents and carers to bring children from birth up to pre-school age. For the babies we have a safe baby corner with padded activity mats and baby toys. Once they are on the move there are other toys to explore: dressing up, kitchens, dolls, tools, cars, Happyland etc, as well as a slide and crawling tunnels. For those quieter moments there is always a variety of colouring, puzzles and crafts on offer as well. Every other week we offer a bible story and an accompanying craft. The theme is always listed in the parish magazine. Refreshments are on offer throughout the session in the form of squash and biscuits to keep up their energy levels! To revive the mums, tea and coffee is available as soon as you walk through the door. As a local playgroup, it is a great opportunity to meet other mums, and we also try to hold a ‘mums night out’ each term, so you can get to talk properly without someone else requiring your attention.
All this for £2.50 per family per session. Just turn up when you want – no commitment or waiting lists.
	We are also involved with church life and hold short child-friendly church services at Easter and Christmas – aimed of course at pre-schoolers, and followed by drinks and cakes in the vestry. Other events include a annual Christmas craft party, and we finish off the summer term with a soft play party.
