St Mary's Activities.

 

We’ve a host of activities for people of all ages. There are activities such as guides and scouts, creche on Sundays and groups / activities for adults and children alike throughout the year. Use the menu above to select the activity or group you’re interested in.

Footsteps

Footsteps is  the church crèche which is open for all children in the Turner Vesty every Sunday during the 9.30am service.

Footprints

A playgroup for parents and carers for children from birth up to pre-school age. Held on Wednesdays during term time from 1.15pm – 2.45pm in the Shenfield Parish Hall

Trekkers

Trekkers is our fun and lively Sunday School for school aged children (Foundation to year 6).

Rainbows (age 5-7)

Meet in the Friends Meeting House on Mondays (5.15-6.30pm).

Brownies (age 7-10s)

Meet at the Parish Hall on Wednesdays (5:00-6:30pm) and Thursdays (5:00-6:30pm)

Guides (age 10-14s)

Meet at the Parish Hall on Mondays (7:00-8:30pm)

Beavers (age 6–8)

Meet at the Scout Hut on Mondays (4.45pm – 6pm )

Cubs (age 8–10.5)

Meet at the Scout Hut on Wednesdays (7pm – 8.30pm)

Scouts (age 10.5–14)

Meet  at the Scout Hut on Mondays (7.30pm – 9.30pm)

 

St Mary’s Bell Ringers

The St Mary’s bell ringers are a lively band of mixed ability ringers ranging from juniors and beginners to experienced method ringers and we welcome ringers of all abilities to join us. Thursdays practice at St. Thomas's, Brentwood starts at 7.30pm and Fridays practice at St Mary's is from 5pm-7pm.

Choir

Choir practices are currently held on Friday mornings at 11am at St Mary’s Church for anyone  that is interested in singing at church.
