Other People
A team of people work behind the scenes at St Marys helping to keep the work of the church going throughout the year. Some of these include:
| Churchwarden - Dr Norman Randall | |

Norman became a Churchwarden in 2011, having been a deputy for the five previous years. He has been involved in fundraising at St Mary’s for quite a while both for the new organ and then by heading the Charities fundraising group for 5-6 years. He currently chairs the Communications Committee, which has responsibility for publishing the Parish Magazine, website, The Link (weekly newsletter) and other publications. Norman considers himself a real southerner, having been born in Brighton and, together with his wife and three daughters, he only moved to Essex because his work bought him here. He studied Chemistry at university and then worked in the pharmaceutical industry until retiring. He is a keen photographer, likes “playing with computers”, watching Formula 1 and looking after his garden. |
| Churchwarden - Mrs Molly Hoyle | |

Molly became a Churchwarden in 2006 having been a deputy for the two previous years. She is a member of the Stewardship and Social Committees. Molly looks after the Parish Service Scheme which has around 80 representatives covering all the roads in the Parish. Born in Surrey Molly came to Essex in 1970 when her husband Martin became a GP at Rockleigh Court Surgery. They have three children and four grandchildren. Molly works part-time at Roundwood Pre-School. She looks after Mothers' Union Enterprises in Chelmsford Diocese and enjoys cooking. |
